The main factor in keeping fish well is maintaining good water quality.
The pH, ammonia and nitrite levels in the pond should be checked regularly, every week at a new rate and every two weeks at a mature rate. The goal of regular water testing is that the poor chemical composition of the water will cause stress in your fish. As fish stress levels increase, their immunity may decline, which makes the fish susceptible to pathogenic infections and poor health, while uncontrolled growth of nitrates and phosphates only contributes to the growth of algae in the pond.
The NT Labs Pondlab 200 multi-testing kit includes over 200 tests with 6 key parameters for pond water testing. Using this test, you can test the water in the pond for the following indicators: ammonia, nitrites, nitrate, pH, GH and KH. Tests consist of dropper bottles and test tubes. For analysis, you need to draw water into the test tube and add the required number of drops. There are clear graphic instructions on the back of the box so you can see what to do from the start. A booklet of color labels is provided for labeling tubes and tube caps, so you always carry out one test in one tube. This is important to ensure that, for example, GH reagents can stain the tube and can give incorrect readings if you run an ammonia test in the same tube.
The delivery set includes 6 test tubes and 10 dropper bottles with various reagents.
