Polygomma Primer is a specialized primer designed to prepare the surface of EPDM and butyl rubber membranes before bonding seams with Polygomma seam tapes.
Using the primer ensures reliable adhesion between the membrane and tape, which is critical for long-term sealing of seams when installing waterproofing systems in ponds, reservoirs, tanks, and other technical structures.
Polygomma Primer is not an adhesive and is used exclusively as a pre-coat before applying seam tapes.

Instructions for Use:
Surface Preparation
The membrane surface must be dry, clean, and degreased.
If cleaning is necessary, Griffon cleaner can be used.
The primer is not intended for cleaning the membrane.
Primer Application
Do not dilute the primer before use. Apply a thin, even layer with a brush or special applicator.
Allow the material to dry for 15–20 minutes until slightly tacky.
Adhesion
After the primer has dried, apply Polygomma seam tape. Ensure uniform pressure over the entire contact area.
Fully sealed joints are achieved after approximately 48 hours.
Important Disclaimers
Do not use the primer as an adhesive.
Do not use with other types of membranes.
Do not apply to damp, dirty, or greasy surfaces.
Do not use on expanded polystyrene.
Condensation may form at temperatures below 5°C. Inspect the surface before application.
Polygomma Primer is a mandatory component of proper installation technology for EPDM and butyl rubber membranes. Using the primer ensures the reliability, tightness, and durability of seam joints in waterproofing systems.
