Colombo Bacto Balls Quick start & Maintenance - bacteria designed to quickly start a pond.
Bacteria are contained in two active forms - gel-like and water-soluble balls, which are specially processed and are in the so-called "sleeping" state.
In the process of feeding, bacteria convert ammonia released during the life of the fish into nitrites, and nitrites, in turn, into nitrates. Nitrates are the least hazardous chemical compound for pond fish (KOI).
Bacteria effectively act on pond water due to a double active action:
- Gel containing highly active biobacteria and enzymes that destroy organic compounds, ammonium and nitrates, promote the activation of natural bacteria in the filtration system and reduce the formation of sediment at the bottom of the reservoir;
- After being added to a filter or pond, gel balls, gradually dissolving, saturate the pond water with biologically active additives and microelements that promote the processing of harmful substances - ammonia and nitrites.
For best results, it is recommended that Colombo Bacto Balls Quick start & Maintenance be placed in a stream or near a waterfall and placed in a bag to prevent the balls from being eaten by fish.
Dosage: 2500 ml balls per 25000 liters of water. Or 100 balls per 1000 liters of water.
Optimum application temperature: 15-20 degrees.
Storage conditions: in a dry place, away from sunlight.
During the initial colonization of bacteria, turn off the UV installation of your reservoir for three days!
Shelf life is two years without the need for refrigeration.
