Bactoplus Fresh PSB - live photosynthetic bacteria. Capable of absorbing large amounts of organic waste and thereby improving water quality, creating a better environment for your fish. PSB is active immediately after being added to the pond. Bacteria remove ammonia and other impurities from the water. They do not consume oxygen, so they can be used in very high dosages.
The red color of Bactoplus PSB is a natural color and no cucurants have been added to the product. The carotene produced by the bacteria turns red. The presence of natural carotene in the product makes it also suitable as an additive to fish feed, as carotene stimulates the color, growth and health of koi when ingested by fish.
Dosage:
2000 ml per 40,000 liters of water.
Shake well before use.
Bacteria must be used when the water temperature is above 12°C.
For initial use in new ponds, add at least 10 ml per 1000 liters of pond water within 5 days. (2 liters = 5 x 40,000 liters). For initial use in existing (polluted) ponds, add at least 10 ml per 250 liters of pond water for 5 days. (2 liters = 5 x 10,000 liters). For a maintenance dose, add at least 10 ml per 250-500 liters of pond water every week, depending on the number and size of the fish.
Application:
1. Turn off circulation for 12 hours and UV sterilizer/ozonator for 48 hours;
2. Bacteria are introduced directly into the filter on filter elements or bioload;
3. If there is no filter, the drug can be applied directly into the pond, in the evening, along the perimeter of the reservoir.
An overdose of bacteria is not critical, but before use, you should always pay attention to the recommendations in the instructions for the product.
Store in a frost-free, well-lit area to keep bacteria alive.
