Alltech Copens Spirulina 15kg (floating) - this food is made with high quality ingredients such as astaxanthin and spirulina. Astaxanthin is a type of carotenoid that, like carotenoid-rich spirulina, is used to improve the brightness of Koi color. Carotenoids have made Koi their stunning colors, and SPIRULINA is considered the strongest color enhancer, especially red, for Koi and is used effectively in preparation for shows and competitions.
In addition to containing carotenoid pigments, spirulina contains essential amino acids and fatty acids such as eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA).
SPIRULINA contains the prebiotic inulin. This polysaccharide is a source of nutrition for positive gut bacteria. Positive bacteria play a vital role in maintaining the intestinal microflora and thus the overall health of koi.
In addition to the above-mentioned ingredients, organic acids are added to the food. Increasing intestinal acidity is necessary for improving digestion and forming a barrier for pathogenic bacteria. SPIRULINA does not become water-soluble and settles in solid lumps, which reduces water pollution.
