The OASE BioSmart Set 5000 Filtration Kit is a complete solution designed to keep pond and pond water clean and healthy. Suitable for ponds up to 5000 l, fish ponds up to 2500 l.
The main functions of this kit are mechanical, biological and UV sterilization.
Mechanical filtration is carried out through filter materials that trap large contaminants such as branches, leaves and other mechanical impurities.
Biological filtration is based on the work of bacteria that decompose organic matter and convert it into biologically stable compounds. This helps reduce ammonia and nitrite levels, which are harmful to fish and other organisms in the pond.
UV sterilization kills most bacteria, spores and other microorganisms.

The filter is installed at the edge of the pond, it can also be dug up to 1/3 of the height.
We recommend using starter bacteria to improve the biological filtration of water.
Over time, the efficiency of the UV lamp decreases. The lamp needs to be replaced every 8000 operating hours (every year). You also need to monitor the cleanliness of the flask so that there are no deposits on it. The filtration system should only be used with pond pumps.
When connecting to the network, it is recommended to use a voltage stabilizer.
