BactoPlus Filter Start contains a very high concentration of live nitrifying bacteria. Each milliliter contains approximately 8,000,000 of these bacteria. Nitrifying bacteria ensure optimal functioning of the biological pond filter and thus the health of the pond and fish. By adding BactoPlus Filter Start, you can quickly establish a bacterial colony in new filters and maintain the bacterial culture in existing filters. Bactoplus Filter Start bacteria are 100% natural, do not contain chemicals and pathogens.
Bactoplus Filter Start bacteria reduce the start-up time of the filtration system. What usually takes ± 6/8 weeks is now reduced by 3-4 weeks, because they can be used at lower temperatures. Bactoplus Filter Start bacteria already work at 6 degrees. This allows you to start the filter early in the spring.
The advantages of Bactoplus Filter Start include faster functioning of the biological system, cleaner water, increased resistance and reduced stress for your fish. In addition, with Bactoplus Filter Start you can start feeding your fish earlier in the spring.
The bacteria of Bactoplus Filter Start are contained in a special storage/feeding liquid so that they can be stored for a longer period of time.
Instructions for use: Before starting the filter or with increased ammonia and/or nitrite values: 15 ml daily per 1000 liters of water for 3 days. After cleaning the filter or changing the water: 10 ml daily per 1000 liters of water for 5 days. Maintenance dose: 10 m3/l per 1000 liters of water per week. The water temperature in the pond should be above 10°C, if used below 10°C the dosage should be doubled. Turn off the equipment for at least 24 hours after using UV-C and ozone. Shake before use. Cap contains more than 15 ml. Keep frost-proof and out of reach of children.
You can use BactoPlus BSO for filter maintenance and to break up sediment. The best results are achieved when using Bactoplus Filter Start in combination with BactoPlus Activator, this product activates the beneficial bacteria in the pond environment and thus ensures a healthy environment without annoying algae growth.
