Alltech Coppens Wheat Germ 5kg (floating) is a premium food for Koi to keep Koi in top condition all year round.
This food contains meat products from fish, vegetable protein and cereals, as well as wheat germ.
Wheat germ is rich in vitamin E, essential fatty acids and minerals and is highly digestible. It is suitable for use in cold weather, and many Koi owners use WHEAT GERM exclusively at water temperatures below 15°C.
Prebiotics are rich in polysaccharides, which are a source of nutrients for the positive bacteria present in the intestinal flora. These positive bacteria support the intestinal microflora and are very important for the overall health of the fish. WHEAT GERM does not contain carotenoids and is therefore suitable for carps, which do not require optimal pigmentation. The food floats on the pond surface until the fish swallow it whole.
Feeding recommendations :
Before feeding, the water temperature should be measured to determine the frequency of feeding and the amount of feed needed. Also consider the number and size of the fish to determine the precise portion size.
