Air-Aqua SuperBead Small Pond Filter (UZV) combines fine mechanical and biological filtration. Used in koi ponds and swimming ponds. The filter has an innovative flushing process than conventional Beadfilter systems and sand filters. The Air-Aqua SuperBead Small filter traps small particles, enhancing the biological process of removing ammonia and nitrite. Due to the fact that bacteria such as Nitrosomonas and Nitrospira are populated on filter beads, they process a large amount of ammonia and nitrite, as well as mechanically purify water in the pond. This is achieved through the use of the useful surface area of the balls, 1300 m2 / m3. The beads are easy to clean and dirt is quickly removed thanks to an innovative flushing system without destroying the biomass that the milling material is coated on.

Air-Aqua SuperBead Small filtering in a pond filter (UZV) is carried out as follows: water is pumped into a filter where biological filler with a useful area of 1300 m2 / m3 is placed, then the filler automatically rises to the top of the filter where it is very tightly placed and carries out mechanical (up to 20 microns), and biological filtration, all contaminants settle on the bottom of the filter and are removed during the first flush, using the reversing valve at the bottom. Due to the large amount of biological filler in Superbead, the performance of the biological filter is extremely high.
For Air-Aqua SuperBead, a pre-filtering system is required; accordingly, a strainer or drum filter must be installed in front of the filter. SuperBead is easy to install anywhere below or above water level. In addition, the Air-Aqua SuperBead can be easily installed further from the pool, provided that due attention is paid to pipe diameters and pump performance. Since it is a closed filter, its placement inside does not cause problems with moisture, smell or insects.
